 Construction Projects in the Maldives

The Maldives, in the full Republic of Maldives, also called the Maldive Islands, an independent island country in the north-central Indian Ocean. It consists of a chain of about 1,200 small coral islands and sandbanks (some 200 of which are inhabited), grouped in clusters, or atolls.

The islands extend more than 510 miles (820 km) from north to south and 80 miles (130 km) from east to west. The northernmost atoll is about 370 miles (600 km) south-southwest of the Indian mainland, and the central area, including the capital island of Male (Male’), is about 400 miles (645 km) southwest of Sri Lanka.

The Maldivian economy is based on tourism and fishing. Tourism, Maldives' largest industry, accounts for 28% of GDP and more than 60% of the Maldives' foreign exchange receipts. Over 90% of government tax revenue comes from import duties and tourism-related taxes. Fishing is the second leading sector. Agriculture and manufacturing play a minor role, constrained by limited cultivable land and shortage of domestic labor. Fish is the largest export, while petroleum products, ships, foodstuffs, clothing, and capital goods are the main imports. Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Great Britain, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are the major trading partners.

In 2020, there are 166 operating Resorts in all Maldivian Archipelago. Almost a dozen new resorts are opening each year! North Male Atoll and South Male Atoll have no more Islands for Resort leases. Most of Sri Lankan, Indian, Malaysian, and Singapore companies are managing constructions in these resort projects, and most of the European investors engaged in these projects. Blogger has experience in working at 6 resort projects in Maldives, Lux Resort, Raffles Resort, KV resort, Crossroad, FINOLHU , Ananthara Resort, and prefer to share all physical and geographical, natural important things YOU to have a good idea about resort construction in Maldives because it's really interesting the Island LIfe, $# Rhythms Of Life #$%^&*(

History and value of Distance Learning-Engineer Ruwan Dissanayake

The University of London was the first university to offer distance learning degrees, establishing its External Programme in 1858. The background to this innovation lay in the fact that the institution (later known as University College London) was non-denominational and, given the intense religious rivalries at the time, there was an outcry against the "godless" university. The issue soon boiled down to which institutions had degree-granting powers and which institutions did not.

Distance education or long-distance learning is the education of students who may not always be physically present at a school. Traditionally, this usually involved correspondence courses wherein the student corresponded with the school via post. Today it involves online education. A distance learning program can be completely distance learning, or a combination of distance learning and traditional classroom instruction (called hybrid or blended)Massive open online courses (MOOCs), offering large-scale interactive participation and open access through the World Wide Web or other network technologies, are recent developments in distance education. A number of other terms (distributed learning, e-learning, online learning, virtual classroom etc.) are used roughly synonymously with distance education.

I also have an Engineering degree from The Open University of Sri Lanka, whole life has began from the university thus it has fulfilled my life with different strategic events. I'm really open to share my knowledge and the various techniques used for the distance education , it is worthy to learn these steps in a proper manner because with the technology people need to learn fast without having strong push as it is also very vital for the companies to hire people with self motivation, energetic, thoughtful, powerful etc.  not only Engineers all other professional categories also will have their own characteristic structure with these techniques.

Hope you all will interesting to learn with the experience of mine of Distance Education in next letter.
